Transferred to the Hotel Ushuaia, high up on the side of the hill, and settled in before walking into town for a browse and a ‘Tenedor Libre’ (all you can eat meat buffet).
To walk down our meal we took a stroll along the shore to view the sights.

Unaccustomed to light nights we were surprised to find the time was 18.30 as we wandered back to the hotel.
Hotel Ushuaia
Saturday 21 January
Although we were not joining the ship until 15.30, we needed to have our bags at the hotel reception by 8.30. So we had seven hours to kill, fortunately the weather was warm and sunny so with a local tourist map we wandered out towards the airport, hoping to pick up a road out to a point. But the road was imaginary, or at least not open to the public and so we wandered where we could, taking photos as we went. On the way round we met a number of people doing the same - we would meet them again on board ship.
