Naseby Battlefield Project
The Naseby Battlefield Project aims to enhance visitor facilities at Naseby battlefield. A staged programme of improvements is underway.


British Trust for Conservation Volunteers
BTCV is the UK’s largest practical conservation charity. It enables people from all sections of the community to take positive action in caring for their local environment.


Friends of Raymond
Formed in October 1996 to recover and restore Raymond, the last wooden working boat. By 2002 this was completed and then in 2003 Nutfield (which used to tow Raymond) came on the market and we managed to buy it – but it also needs restoration


Friends of the Lakes
To promote the improvement of the three lakes and surroundings within the new Swanhaven Park. The Lakes are situated in Lings, Lumbertubs and Thorplands and can be found along Billing Brook Road and Crestwood Road on the eastern side of Northampton.


Friends of the Racecourse
Aims to maintain the character of the Racecourse.


Higham Ferrers & Rushden Conservation Group
The group holds regular work parties to help safeguard three important wildlife sites in the area.

The Old Union Canals Society is dedicated to the promotion and protection of the Leicestershire & Northants Union and the ‘old’ Union Canals, Leicester to Norton Junction. It has its own moorings.

The Open Spaces Society protects common land and public rights of way.

With 85 pocket parks across the county, there is a opportunity for you to help your local park. The pocket park website contains information about each park, also the name and number of the local coordinator.
